Maintaining and remastering our vintage music library takes time, afford and .. money. This is why we ask for a moderate purchase price for our music downloads. However – we want to make music available – so we offer some of our tapes for free.
The “for free” selection changes. Sometimes its just a song, sometimes a complete album. But all in high quality 96khz FLAC encoding.
We recently recorded and remastered a very special performance of “Glenn Gray’s Casa Loma Orchestra”. Glen Gray is especially known for his famous “Big Band” cover versions. And we have a few of those albums in our download section. However – Glen recorded different albums in the early 60s. He took popular songs and re-arranged them in the style of those well known 40s bands. And this album is special, because it’s Glen’s final album. He unfortunately passed away before it could be completed.
